Chris Rish is a cinematographer, media producer, and educator. Chris’ award-winning programs have been shown on international networks including: PBS, ABC, NBC, ESPN, Nat Geo, TLC, OWN, CMT, ION, ITV, NHK, TSN et al. Films like The Other Shore that he shot and produced have screened at SXSW, HotDocs, and The Toronto Film Festival. Chris shot and produced The End is Blossoming which was nominated for best cinematography at The Calgary Fringe Fest, and A Piece of My Heart which won for best cinematography at the Long Island Film Expo among his many other credits. His clients include production companies, advertisers, corporations, television networks, educational institutions, and publishing houses. Chris has a Master’s degree in Media Studies and Journalism and Undergraduate Degrees in Biology and Television Programming from the University of South Florida. He currently resides in St. Petersburg, FL with his wife and three children.

Chris works braodly in nonfiction film and television. Viollet is a fund-raising trailer produced for the now released film Dennis Viollet: A United Man. Manchester United Captain and league legend Dennis Viollet. was a dear family friend and Chris’ youth soccer coach. This project was directed by Dennis’ daughter Rachel.
While shooting a series for TLC, Chris encountered Eric Ducharme, the Mertailor. He immediately booked Eric and friends for this underwater video project.
